Can hot water cure health problems?

A message being shared on WhatsApp claims that hot water can cure diseases such as epilepsy, asthma and others

 

The claim is FALSE

 

The claim read thus: “a group of Japanese doctors confirmed that warm water is 100 percent effective in resolving some health problems such as epilepsy, high blood pressure, migraine, pains of joint, asthma and others.

 

It further added, “Get up early in the morning and drink approximately 2 glasses of warm water when the stomach is empty. You may not be able to make 2 glasses at the beginning, but slowly you will. Do not eat anything for 45 mins after taking the water,”

 

Findings showed that this message has been in circulation since 2017 and has also been debunked several times.

 

A nutritionist said hot water will only burn your mouth or damage cells on your skin, it has no good.

 

He said it looks like another hoax like the hot water and salt during the spread of Ebola.

 

He however added that warm water is good to be taken but does not cure any ailment.

 

No accurate research on the efficacy of hot water in curing diseases but rather causing harm to the body.
