A fake WhatsApp message going viral claims Saudi airlines is celebrating 78th anniversary with government welfare subsidy via a website link.

The same hoax has found itself in the international space and has been debunked but it came into Nigeria recently.
Though Saudi airlines was established in April 1945 and will celebrate its 78th anniversary, it is not offering ₦3,684,160.00 as welfare subsidy.
Cyber experts have warned that the viral Saudia Airlines 78th Anniversary Government Welfare Subsidy Link can be a scam where cybercriminals could be looking for your personal data. Either they can use the data to call and defraud you or for your identity theft.
When you click on the link, The message says “Saudia Airlines 78th Anniversary Government Welfare Subsidy. Through the questionnaire, you will have a chance to get ₦ 3,684,160.00.”
You will further be required to share the link on WhatsApp groups.
The website attached is not related to the Saudi airlines.
