Were the bandits captured in a drone Video from Nigeria?

A drone video currently being shared on Nigeria’s social media, claims they are bandits spotted in Ijebu, a part of Ogun State.

This claim is false, here are the reasons

The footage video showed a group of about five men, wearing red cloth and it looked like they were cooking.

A part of the video showed the men holding what seem like AK47s. One of them is even a pointed gun at the drone.

A home security company in Nairobi, Victory Security Africa Group uploaded this same video on Facebook on 3 April 2022 with the caption, ‘Bandits spotted by one drone for Laikipia’.

Laikipia is in Kenya and many Kenyans have shared the video on social media with different captions.

Conclusion

The video is from Kenya therefore the claim that the video is of bandits in Nigeria is false.
