A picture emerged recently claiming that three sisters of the same parents are pilots.
The claim is TRUE
Subjecting the image to a Google search; there were links to several news reports that had used same image.
The three sisters famous as the Makinde siblings are Oluwafunmilayo, Oluwaseun and Mopelola.
Several news channels reported that they took after their father, Captain Wale Makinde, a native of Ondo State who is a veteran helicopter pilot with the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
While Mopelola and Oluwaseun are Helicopter Pilots, Oluwafunmilayo is a fixed wing Pilot. They attribute the feat to motivation from their father.
The trio took part in the 10km road race of the 2022 Lagos Women Run.
CONCLUSION The claim that three sisters from the same family are pilots as shown in viral picture is true.
