 Did Osun State governor appoint daughter, Uncle as commissioners?

Some online news reported that the Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke appointed his daughter andUncle as commissioners in the state.

The claim is FALSE

 

The news named Adenike Folasade Adeleke as the daughter and Prof Maroof Adeleke as Uncle appointed into the State cabinet.

 

The spokesperson to Gov Adeleke, Mallam Olawale Rasheed has debunked theand news.

 

Rasheed in a statement described the news as ‘FAKE’, adding that those who reported failed to investigate before publishing.

 

He clarified that while the governor was born in Ede, Prof Adeleke was born at Ilesa and Mrs Adeleke is the daughter of Chief Omidiran of Osogbo Land and also wife of the late Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Isiaka Adeleke.

 

CONCLUSION

The claim that Osun State governor appointed daughter and uncle as commissioners is FALSE.
